My Pool Pro began in 1989 when Terry Wilson decided that professional dealer-quality service was noticeably absent in the pool and spa service industry. With Terry's background as a pool technician, he opened up for business as Terry Wilson Swimming Pool and Spa. The first location was in Woodland Hills (Los Angeles area).

As demand for services grew, it was evident that the My Pool Pro service approach and maintenance system would grow outside the San Fernando Valley. Terry reviewed the options for growth and realized that franchising their business was the most viable option for expanding My Pool Pro.

About Terry

Terry is a valley native which helps him understand and serve his customer’s needs, Terry is currently seeking to expand his State Contractor license classification to include a (C53), Pool Builder Classification.

Terry is actively involved in educating the public and improving the perception of professionalism for the industry. Terry is also active in volunteer efforts especially with regard to animal rescue and the protection of the public and environment from unwanted/abandoned pets.
